Earthstahl & Alloys Limited has submitted its Annual Report for FY 2024-25 along with the notice for the 16th AGM, scheduled for 30th September 2025 via video conferencing. Revenue declined to ₹7,227.64 lakhs from ₹8,794.39 lakhs, while profit after tax fell sharply to ₹53.37 lakhs from ₹189.12 lakhs in the previous year. The company attributed the weaker performance to a sharp rise in electricity tariffs, falling cast iron lump prices, and a planned plant shutdown during August–September 2024. Production of CI lumps dropped from 17,860 MT to 14,631 MT, while pipe fittings output rose modestly from 1,050 to 1,100 tonnes. The board did not recommend any dividend and has proposed reappointment of Mr. Ravi Thakurdasji Laddha as director, retiring by rotation. The company commissioned a 132 KV power supply system and briquetting plant in October 2024 and partially secured tariff relief effective July 2025.
Shareholders face weaker earnings, no dividend, and continued power-cost headwinds, though the new 132 KV supply and briquetting plant may aid margin recovery going forward. The AGM agenda items are routine.
