Econo Trade (India) Ltd reported its Q1 FY26 standalone results. Revenue from operations was ₹128.63 lakhs vs ₹123.63 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a modest ~4% YoY rise. Total income stood at ₹129.89 lakhs. Net profit jumped to ₹53.98 lakhs from ₹41.07 lakhs, a ~31% YoY increase, driven mainly by sharply lower finance costs (₹47.04 lakhs vs ₹54.87 lakhs). Basic and diluted EPS came in at ₹0.29 vs ₹0.22. The Board also approved a new Corporate Office in Kolkata and initiated delisting from the Calcutta Stock Exchange. The statutory auditor, M/s H S K & Co LLP, issued an unqualified review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Despite flat revenue, the strong ~31% jump in net profit signals improved cost efficiency and lower interest burden, which is positive for shareholders. The proposed delisting from the Calcutta Stock Exchange is largely procedural since BSE is the primary exchange and should not materially affect liquidity.
