Elecon Engineering reported Q4FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs. 746 crores (down 7% YoY) with EBITDA of Rs. 158 crores and margin at 21.2%, impacted by lower contributions from the Gear division due to extended dispatch schedules and customer delivery deferments amid global macroeconomic challenges. FY26 full-year revenue stood at Rs. 2,366 crores (up 6% YoY). The company recorded a PAT of Rs. 108 crores in Q4 (excluding Rs. 102 crores goodwill impairment) and Rs. 341 crores for FY26. Open order book as of March 2026 stands at Rs. 1,292 crores, up 36% YoY, providing good visibility. MHE division showed strong growth with Q4 revenue up 36.8% YoY to Rs. 274 crores, while Gear division revenue declined 21% YoY to Rs. 472 crores. Management remains optimistic about growth recovery driven by healthy order book and early signs of overseas market recovery.
The quarter showed margin pressure (EBITDA margin down 330 bps YoY) due to Gear division weakness, but the strong 36% YoY growth in order book signals good revenue visibility for the coming year. The MHE division's robust 36.8% growth partially offsets Gear division headwinds.
