Electrosteel Castings has submitted to the exchanges copies of newspaper advertisements of its audited financial results for Q4 FY25 and full year FY25, published on May 11, 2025 in The Economic Times (all editions) and Pratidin, as required under SEBI listing rules. On a standalone basis, full-year FY25 revenue declined to ₹6,839.81 crore from ₹7,043.69 crore in FY24, while net profit fell to ₹846.72 crore from ₹929.70 crore. Standalone EPS for FY25 came in at ₹11.52 vs ₹12.29 in FY24. On a consolidated basis, FY25 net profit was ₹856.12 crore (down from ₹937.30 crore in FY24), with EPS of ₹11.48. However, Q4 FY25 consolidated net profit improved to ₹259.82 crore from ₹212.75 crore in Q4 FY24. The statutory auditors have expressed a modified opinion, flagging notes on cancellation of a coal block allotted earlier and a disputed land matter at one of the company's integrated plants involving claims by a third party, which the company is contesting.
The financial details were already disclosed earlier when results were filed; this announcement is a routine compliance submission. The mixed picture — a YoY decline in full-year standalone profits but a Q4 recovery on a consolidated basis — may invite limited market reaction, while the auditor's modified opinion and ongoing land/coal block matters remain watchpoints for investors.
