Elegant Floriculture & Agrotech (India) Ltd resubmitted its audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026 to BSE on June 9, 2026, citing a clerical error in the original May 22 filing. For FY26, revenue from operations grew about 24% to ₹16,003.19 lakhs from ₹12,893 lakhs a year earlier. Profit before tax nearly doubled to ₹284.34 lakhs (vs ₹146.40 lakhs), and total comprehensive income rose to ₹213.98 lakhs from ₹115.92 lakhs, lifting basic EPS to ₹1.09 from ₹0.58. The balance sheet expanded sharply — total assets rose to ₹18,083.14 lakhs (from ₹3,203.71 lakhs), driven mainly by trade receivables jumping to ₹16,026.42 lakhs and matching trade payables of ₹15,482.14 lakhs. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified opinion but included an Emphasis of Matter flagging that trade receivables, trade payables, loans and advances could not be independently verified through external confirmations.
Strong revenue and profit growth is a positive read, but the massive surge in unreconciled trade receivables and the auditor's emphasis-of-matter note about unverified balances are notable red flags. The fact that the results had to be revised for a clerical error shortly after the original filing may also dent confidence in disclosure quality, so investors should weigh the headline growth against the verification concerns before taking a view.
