Emami Paper Mills reported FY2025-26 results with revenue from operations at Rs 1,907.23 crore, marginally lower than Rs 1,928.04 crore in the previous year (down ~1%). However, Profit After Tax (PAT) surged significantly to Rs 61.38 crore from Rs 26.01 crore in FY25, representing growth of approximately 136%. Basic EPS improved to Rs 9.34 from Rs 3.49. The Board recommended dividend of Rs 3.20 per equity share (160%). Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. An exceptional item of Rs 1.25 crore was recorded due to new Labour Code provisions. The company appointed V.K. Jain & Co. as Cost Auditors for FY 2026-27 and re-appointed Manish Goenka as Vice Chairman for 3 years.
Strong profitability improvement with PAT more than doubling indicates better operational efficiency and cost management despite flat revenue. The clean audit opinion and positive cash flows from operations (Rs 197.23 crore) are positive signals for investors. The modest revenue decline warrants monitoring.
