Emami Limited has informed the stock exchanges of a change at the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) position effective 25th March 2026. Shri Giriraj Bagri has resigned as CGO to pursue opportunities outside the organisation and will serve his notice period to aid transition. Replacing him is Shri Dhruv Aggarwal, who has been appointed as the new CGO on the same date. Aggarwal brings 20 years of experience in growth strategy consulting and project management, including 13 years at Bain & Company as a Partner in the consumer and retail practice, and holds a PGDM from IIM Bangalore. The changes have been disclosed under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations. This is essentially a planned, like-for-like replacement at a senior leadership level rather than a strategic overhaul.
This is a routine senior management transition with no change in business direction. Shareholders should note continuity in the CGO role, though investors may watch how quickly the new appointee from a consulting background delivers on growth targets. Minimal short-term stock impact expected.
