Emami reported Q4FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹925 crore (down 4% YoY), with EBITDA at ₹187 crore (down 15%) and PAT at ₹143 crore (down 12%). The decline was primarily due to a disrupted summer season (summer portfolio down 22%) and geopolitical disruptions in West Asia impacting international business (down 5%). However, the non-summer domestic portfolio delivered resilient growth of 11%, and organised channels now contribute 32% of domestic business. Gross margins expanded by 250 bps to 68.4% in Q4 and by 130 bps to 69.9% for FY26, reflecting disciplined cost management. For FY26, revenue stood at ₹3,780 crore, EBITDA at ₹964 crore, and PAT at ₹775 crore. Strategically, the company increased its stake in Axiom Ayurveda (AloFrut) making it a subsidiary, and is acquiring a majority stake in IncNut (Vedix, SkinKraft) to strengthen its personalised beauty portfolio. The company declared total dividends of ₹10 per share (₹436.5 crore, 51% payout), remains debt-free with net cash of ₹883 crore, and invested 12% more in advertising to support brand growth.
The stock may face near-term pressure due to Q4 revenue and profit decline, but the strong margin expansion and strategic acquisitions in high-growth FMCG segments signal improved profitability and long-term growth potential. The debt-free balance sheet and shareholder-friendly dividend policy provide fundamental stability.
