Emami reported Q4 FY '26 consolidated revenues of INR925 crore (down 4% YoY) and PAT of INR143 crore (down 12%), impacted by delayed summer and unseasonal rainfall that hit the talcum powder business hard (down 40%). Excluding the talc/summer portfolio, domestic business grew 11% in Q4. Full year FY '26 revenues stood at INR3,780 crore (down 1%) with PAT of INR775 crore (down 4%). Gross margins expanded to 68.4% in Q4 (+250 bps) and 69.9% for the full year (+130 bps), driven by cost discipline and pricing actions. International business declined 5% due to geopolitical disruptions in the Middle East affecting supply chains through the Strait of Hormuz. The company is debt-free with working capital improved by 10 days. New Chief Growth Officer Dhruv Aggarwal (ex-Bain & Company) outlined growth plans for portfolio companies targeting 30%+ YoY growth.
While Q4 was impacted by seasonal headwinds, margin expansion and channel mix improvement (organized channels at 32%) signal structural gains. New strategic acquisitions in beverages and personalized beauty add growth levers for FY '27.
