Empower India Ltd reported strong standalone numbers for Q1 FY26, with revenue from operations surging to ₹2,573.20 lakhs from ₹679.00 lakhs in the same quarter last year — a jump of nearly 279%. Standalone profit after tax rose to ₹144.64 lakhs (vs ₹88.74 lakhs, up ~63%) and EPS stood at ₹0.012. However, the consolidated picture tells a different story: consolidated revenue fell to ₹2,655.45 lakhs from ₹3,800.45 lakhs YoY (down ~30%), and consolidated profit collapsed to just ₹16.97 lakhs from ₹212.40 lakhs, indicating that subsidiaries (Empower Tradex, Housing, Retail, Energy, and E-Ventures LLP) are dragging down group performance. The statutory auditor (Rishi Sekhri & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report on both sets of results.
Mixed signals for shareholders — the standalone business is growing rapidly and profitably, but the consolidated group performance is sharply weaker due to subsidiary losses, which may concern investors looking at the full company picture. The wide gap between standalone and consolidated results deserves close monitoring going forward.
