Nutricircle Limited submitted its revised audited financial results for FY25, showing total income of ₹271.04 lakhs (down slightly from ₹285.53 lakhs in FY24). The company swung to a profit of ₹12.09 lakhs compared to a loss of ₹125.23 lakhs in the previous year, with EPS of ₹0.36 vs ₹(6.07). Q4 FY25 was particularly strong with a profit of ₹78.23 lakhs on revenue of ₹124.56 lakhs. The statutory auditor NSVR & Associates issued a qualified opinion due to an unconfirmed ₹50 lakh unsecured loan from a farmer (Mr. K. Veersham) related to crop cultivation losses from 2017-18. The company also raised ₹9.73 crores via preferential issue in December 2024, of which ₹5.70 crores was used to convert the promoter Hitesh Patel's loan into equity rather than fresh cash. Operating cash flow remained deeply negative at ₹(386.84) lakhs.
The return to profitability is a positive signal, but it is largely driven by lower other expenses rather than revenue growth, and the company continues to burn cash from operations. The qualified audit opinion on a legacy loan recovery and the negative operating cash flow are concerns for shareholders. The promoter loan-to-equity conversion improves debt-equity optics but does not bring fresh capital into the business.
