RRP Semiconductor Ltd (formerly GD Trading and Agencies Limited) held a board meeting on 30th May 2025 and approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. FY25 revenue jumped sharply to Rs. 31.59 crore from Rs. 0.38 crore in FY24, with net profit of Rs. 8.46 crore vs a Rs. 1.70 lakh loss earlier; EPS came in at Rs. 5.99. Q4 FY25 however showed a Rs. 1.59 crore loss after tax because of a Rs. 3 crore full-year tax provision. The company reversed Rs. 8 crore of revenue booked in Q3 FY25 from a solar panel subcontract with M/s Telecrown Infratech due to contractual disagreements. The board appointed a new Secretarial Auditor (M/s Amarendra Mohapatra & Associates for 5 years) and Internal Auditor (M/s Kalpesh Khatri & Associates for 2 years). Mr. George Abraham Vithayathil resigned as CFO effective 21st May 2025 citing personal reasons, and Mrs. Sumita Mishra stepped down as Managing Director and was redesignated as Non-Executive Director.
Shareholders should note the sudden revenue surge is largely driven by a now-disputed solar panel contract, with Rs. 8 crore reversed and recovery of spent costs uncertain, which adds risk to the FY25 earnings picture. The CFO exit combined with the MD stepping down to a non-executive role — while the same family stays represented on the board — signals leadership instability that investors should watch closely.
