Energy Infrastructure Trust has informed the Exchange regarding Disclosure of material issue

The Investment Manager (Encap, formerly Brookfield India) filed a regulatory disclosure on how the Middle East crisis affects Energy Infrastructure Trust, which owns a ~1,480 km natural gas pipeline through Pipeline Infrastructure Limited (PIL). The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas issued a Natural Gas (Supply Regulation) Order on March 9, 2026, prioritising gas for fertilizers, domestic PNG, and pipeline operations amid Strait of Hormuz disruptions. About 85% of PIL's gas transportation revenue comes from domestic gas sources along India's east coast, with the rest from RLNG through terminals like Hazira, Chhara, and Dahej. Over the past 10 days, volumes from the Hazira terminal have actually increased, and PIL has spare capacity to handle more RLNG if needed.
Largely neutral to mildly positive for unit holders. The Trust's domestic-heavy revenue mix insulates it from the global LNG shock, and the rise in Hazira volumes suggests steady if not improving throughput. No change in revenue or cost outlook has been flagged.
