Energy Infrastructure Trust (formerly India Infrastructure Trust) held its 7th AGM on July 24, 2025 via video conferencing, from 11:00 AM to 11:38 AM. Three ordinary business resolutions were put to vote: (1) adoption of audited standalone and consolidated financial statements for FY ended March 31, 2025, (2) adoption of the valuation report for FY ended March 31, 2025, and (3) appointment of Valuer and fixing their remuneration. All three resolutions were passed by simple majority. Resolutions 1 and 2 were passed unanimously, while Resolution 3 received 99.04% votes in favour (50,00,000 votes, or 0.96%, were cast against by public institutional unitholders). Total units outstanding stood at 66.4 crore, with 78.24% of units polled.
Routine AGM proceedings with no material impact on shareholders. All key resolutions including financial statements, asset valuation, and valuer appointment were approved, confirming steady governance. Minor dissent (0.96%) on the valuer appointment from institutional public unitholders is not significant enough to affect outcomes.
