Energy Infrastructure Trust (formerly India Infrastructure Trust, Scrip Code 542543) announced a total distribution of Rs. 4.0766 per unit, comprising Rs. 2.0194 as Return of Capital and Rs. 2.0572 as Return on Capital. The record date has been set for Tuesday, July 15, 2025, and the distribution will be paid to unitholders on or before Monday, July 21, 2025. Separately, the Board of Directors has given preliminary consent to explore converting the Trust from a private listed InvIT to a public listed InvIT, subject to SEBI InvIT Regulations and other approvals. EnCap Investment Manager Private Limited (formerly Brookfield India Infrastructure Manager Private Limited) acts as the Investment Manager of the Trust.
Unitholders will receive a cash distribution of Rs. 4.0766 per unit by July 21, 2025, with July 15 as the record date. The exploration of conversion to a public listed InvIT could broaden investor participation and improve liquidity, but is still at a preliminary stage and subject to regulatory and market conditions.
