Enkei Wheels reported a strong sequential recovery in Q2 FY26 with revenue from operations of ₹2,651 million, up from ₹2,332 million in Q1 FY26 and ₹2,386 million in Q2 FY25 (about 11% YoY). The company swung back to a profit of ₹79.36 million in Q2, versus a loss of ₹45.61 million in the year-ago quarter. However, on a nine-month basis, revenue grew about 12% YoY to ₹7,263 million, but profit after tax fell sharply to ₹9.27 million from ₹56.21 million last year. Finance costs surged to ₹162 million in 9M FY26 from ₹103 million a year ago, weighing on bottom-line despite higher revenue. The statutory auditor (Kirtane & Pandit LLP) issued an unmodified limited review report.
The Q2 turnaround is encouraging and may support short-term sentiment, but the 9M profit decline and rising finance costs suggest margin pressure remains. Investors should watch whether the Q2 recovery sustains and whether the parent-group currency borrowings continue to drag earnings.
