Epigral Limited has submitted copies of newspaper advertisements publishing its Q1 FY26 unaudited financial results, as required under SEBI Listing Regulations. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations stood at ₹606.54 crore, down about 7% from ₹651.20 crore in the same quarter last year. Net profit before tax fell to ₹107.01 crore from ₹130.96 crore YoY. However, net profit after tax surged to ₹160.69 crore from ₹85.87 crore a year ago, reflecting a much lower tax outflow this quarter. Basic and diluted EPS jumped to ₹37.25 from ₹20.67 YoY. Standalone results were broadly in line with consolidated figures. The board approved these results on August 2, 2025.
Mixed picture for shareholders: top-line declined YoY but bottom-line nearly doubled due to a sharp drop in tax expense, boosting EPS significantly. Investors should watch whether the higher PAT is sustainable beyond one quarter or mainly a tax-led boost.
