Epigral Limited reported Q4 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs. 736.16 crore. Full year FY26 revenue declined marginally to Rs. 2,527.18 crore from Rs. 2,550.13 crore in FY25. Profit after tax fell 6.6% to Rs. 333.01 crore from Rs. 356.70 crore, impacted by higher finance costs (up 35% to Rs. 71.96 crore) and power expenses (up 20% to Rs. 156.40 crore). The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 5 per equity share (50% on Rs. 10 face value). The company also adopted the new tax regime under Section 115BAA, resulting in a one-time deferred tax credit of Rs. 80.87 crore. Additionally, the company invested Rs. 21.38 crore in a 19.80 MW wind-solar hybrid power plant through an associate.
The dividend declaration is positive for shareholders, though the company faced profit pressure from rising input costs. The one-time tax benefit boosted bottom-line figures but underlying operational performance showed decline year-on-year.
