ESAF Small Finance Bank reported strong Q4 FY26 performance with total deposits growing 11.05% year-on-year to ₹25,850 crore and gross advances rising 19.42% to ₹22,426 crore. The bank's secured loan portfolio surged 37.88% to ₹13,680 crore, now representing 61% of total advances. Disbursements doubled year-on-year from ₹20,985 crore to ₹42,529 crore. The bank sold NPAs worth ₹1,019 crore during the year, which otherwise would have shown 24.85% growth. Customer base expanded to 1.02 crore with 8.01 lakh new customers added. However, the CASA ratio declined to 23.91% from 24.84%, and the credit-to-deposit ratio rose to 86.75%, indicating higher leverage.
The strong 19.4% advance growth and doubling of disbursements signal robust business momentum, though the declining CASA ratio and rising CD ratio may raise concerns about deposit mobilization and liquidity management. The significant NPA sale indicates active bad loan cleanup.
