Escorts Kubota submitted its Q4 FY25 earnings presentation to the exchanges. For Q4 FY25 standalone (continuing operations), revenue rose 6.1% YoY to ₹2,430.3 Cr while EBITDA was almost flat at ₹292.9 Cr with margins contracting 66 bps to 12.1%; PAT grew 8.2% YoY to ₹297.5 Cr including discontinued operations. For full year FY25, revenue grew 4.7% to ₹10,187 Cr and PAT rose 15.7% to ₹1,250.9 Cr, with EPS of ₹113.77. Tractor volumes grew modestly at 1% to 1,15,554 units while construction equipment volumes fell 9.2% to 6,484 units. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹18/share taking FY25 total to ₹28/share. The Railway Equipment division (discontinued ops) reported an order book of ~₹900 Cr and is being divested to Sona Comstar for ₹1,600 Cr with completion expected by June 1, 2025.
Steady FY25 earnings growth, healthy dividend, and the ₹1,600 Cr Railway Equipment divestment (boosting cash) are positives for shareholders. However, soft construction equipment volumes and QoQ revenue decline in Q4 reflect demand headwinds that may cap near-term upside.
