Escorts Kubota has launched a new tractor, the Kubota MU4201, marking its entry into the 41-44 HP segment in India. The tractor is designed for multiple agricultural uses including haulage and comes with premium features such as flat deck, suspended pedals, balancer shaft, synchromesh transmission and dual clutch, all engineered by Japanese designers. Alongside this, the company has also rolled out upgraded versions of the Kubota MU4501 and MU5502 tractors, which now feature a new 'Pompa Lift' Japanese hydraulic technology capable of lifting 1640-2100 kgs with a 455 mm lift height. The company is targeting the 41-50 HP segment, which makes up around 60-64% of India's total domestic tractor market. Initial rollout will focus on strengthening presence in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. These launches complement the company's existing Farmtrac and Powertrac brand offerings.
