Everest Industries has appointed Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP (PwC) as its new statutory auditor for a first term of five years, from the end of the 93rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) until the 98th AGM. The change was recommended by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on March 26, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 93rd AGM. The previous auditor, S R B C & Co. LLP, is stepping down after completing its maximum two permitted terms under the Companies Act, 2013. PwC is one of India's large audit networks, established in 1991, with 17 branch offices and over 125 assurance partners.
This is a routine, regulation-driven auditor rotation rather than a governance concern. Shareholders should see no impact on operations or financials, though a new auditor may review accounting policies afresh in the coming years.
