To ensure continuity, the Audit Committee on March 18, 2026 recommended appointing Mr. Niranjan Gokhale, currently Head of Strategy at Everest for the last 6 years, as the new Internal Auditor and Chief Risk Officer with effect from April 8, 2026. Mr. Gokhale holds an MBA from McMaster University and an MS from Lehigh University, with over 30 years of multi-industry experience including roles at Ford, Tata Industries, Cummins, and Deepak Fertilizers. The transition is smooth and internal, with no gap between the outgoing and incoming person.

Likely market impact

This is a routine KMP-level transition with an internal replacement, so it should have no material impact on the stock or shareholders. Continuity in risk management and internal audit functions is maintained through the existing Head of Strategy taking on the additional role.
