Excelsoft Technologies reported FY26 revenue of Rs 2,725 Mn, up 16.8% YoY, with PAT growing 25% to Rs 434 Mn. However, EBITDA margins contracted to 26.8% from 31.1% due to higher other expenses from hiring consultants in the US and UK to strengthen client location teams. Q4 showed stronger sequential revenue at Rs 812 Mn but EBITDA margin fell to 30.3% from 40.5% YoY. The company highlighted landmark deals including a major partnership with a UK examination body and a prominent US online course content provider. A new CEO, Doreswamy Palaniswamy, was appointed to accelerate international expansion. Geographic mix remains heavily North America focused at 64.9% of revenue.
While revenue and PAT growth remain healthy, margin contraction in both Q4 and FY26 due to overseas hiring investments may concern short-term investors despite management framing this as strategic expansion spending. The strategic leadership change and major client wins suggest a focus on long-term growth over near-term profitability.
