Exhicon Events Media Solutions has signed a 5-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), one of India's largest exhibition centre operators, to jointly bid for and manage Exhibition & Convention Centres in Tier-2 cities under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. India's exhibition industry is growing at 12–15% CAGR and is expected to surpass ₹95,000 Crore by 2030, with over 16 states actively planning such projects. Each mid-sized project is estimated at ₹300–700 Crore, giving Exhicon access to a potential pipeline of ₹2,000–4,000 Crore over the next 3–5 years. A Joint Steering Committee with equal representation from both parties will oversee project evaluation and bidding.
This is a significant business development for the small company, opening access to large-ticket, government-backed infrastructure projects with long-term recurring revenue potential. However, it is only an MoU — actual project wins, bidding outcomes, and revenue conversion are still uncertain, so stock price reaction will depend on how many of these projects the partnership successfully secures.
