Expo Engineering (formerly Expo Gas Containers) shared its Q3 & 9M FY26 investor presentation. Revenue for the quarter fell 28.5% YoY to ₹18.10 crore, while 9M FY26 revenue declined 32% to ₹50.94 crore. Despite the topline drop, 9M FY26 EBITDA grew 9.1% YoY to ₹5.44 crore with margins expanding 402 bps to 10.67%, and PAT jumped 48.7% YoY to ₹2.40 crore. The order book stood strong at ₹114.63 crore (98% from storage tanks), and the company bagged a ₹14.53 crore work order from Indian Oil Corporation's Haldia Refinery for tank maintenance. Management attributed margin gains to tighter cost controls, better working capital, and disciplined execution.
Margin expansion and PAT growth despite weak revenue suggest operational improvements, but the sharp revenue decline and shrinking quarterly profits may concern investors. The strong ₹114.63 crore order book and new IOCL win provide revenue visibility, though execution and order accretion pace remain key watchpoints.
