Expo Engineering and Projects Ltd has submitted copies of its unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2025, which were published in Free Press Journal (English) and Nav Shakti (Marathi) on 30 October 2025. Standalone total income from operations fell sharply to Rs. 1,500.15 lakhs in Q2 FY26 from Rs. 3,189.70 lakhs in Q2 FY25, while H1 FY26 revenue dropped to Rs. 3,284.85 lakhs versus Rs. 4,960.67 lakhs a year ago. Despite weaker revenue, net profit after tax rose to Rs. 84.78 lakhs in Q2 FY26 (vs Rs. 65.98 lakhs YoY) and nearly doubled to Rs. 189.23 lakhs for H1 FY26 versus Rs. 94.76 lakhs in H1 FY25. Basic EPS stood at Rs. 0.37 for the quarter and Rs. 0.83 for the half year, and the company highlighted current orders in hand of approximately Rs. 125 crores.
Mixed signal for shareholders — top-line has contracted sharply year-on-year, but profitability has improved, suggesting better margins or a shift in revenue mix. The strong order book of ~Rs. 125 crores offers near-term revenue visibility, though the steep revenue decline may weigh on stock sentiment until a recovery is visible.
