Fabtech Technologies Cleanrooms reported standalone revenue of Rs 14,186 lakhs for FY 2025-26, marginally higher than Rs 13,918 lakhs in the previous year. However, standalone profit after tax declined significantly to Rs 906 lakhs from Rs 1,204 lakhs in FY 2024-25, a drop of about 25%. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew substantially to Rs 21,922 lakhs from Rs 15,003 lakhs due to acquisitions increasing subsidiary stakes. The company recorded an exceptional loss of Rs 101.91 lakhs from sale of stake in Altair Partition Systems LLP. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs 1,106 lakhs (standalone) and Rs 1,708 lakhs (consolidated), while finance costs increased nearly 4x to Rs 112 lakhs. Short-term borrowings surged from nil to Rs 1,292 lakhs. The audit report carried an unmodified opinion.
The standalone profit decline and negative operating cash flow are concerning for shareholders. The company appears to be investing heavily in acquisitions and working capital, which is compressing profitability and cash generation. The sharp increase in borrowings also raises leverage concerns.
