Fabtech Technologies Cleanrooms reported weak standalone H1 FY26 results, with revenue from operations falling ~14.5% YoY to ₹4,953 lakh (vs ₹5,790 lakh in H1 FY25). Standalone profit after tax dropped sharply to ₹293 lakh (vs ₹536 lakh), and EBITDA margins compressed materially as input costs and operating expenses outpaced revenue. Operating cash flow turned sharply negative at -₹958 lakh on a standalone basis (-₹1,982 lakh consolidated) due to a big build-up in inventory and other current assets. On the brighter side, consolidated revenue grew ~23% YoY to ₹7,619 lakh, partly helped by the consolidation of newly-acquired subsidiary Kelvin Air Conditioning (51.33% stake). The board also approved a new ₹5 crore factory in Hyderabad (40% capacity addition, 3-6 months), acquisitions of two associates (Aart and Fabtech Fortline), reconstitution of the CSR committee, and full utilization of IPO proceeds of ₹1,850 lakh.
Mixed picture for shareholders: standalone business shows clear deterioration in profits, margins, and cash generation, which is a concern. However, management is investing in growth via acquisitions and a new southern India factory, which could support future volumes if execution and pricing hold. Watch inventory levels, capacity utilization, and working capital in coming quarters closely.
