CRISIL Ratings has reaffirmed its CRISIL AA+/Stable rating for Rs. 1,250 crore Non-Convertible Debentures and CRISIL A1+ rating for Rs. 2,500 crore Commercial Paper of Fedbank Financial Services. The Commercial Paper limit was enhanced from Rs. 2,000 crore to Rs. 2,500 crore. The rating continues to reflect strong support from parent company Federal Bank (CRISIL AAA rated), comfortable capital position with CAR at 20.47% as of December 2025, and manageable asset quality with overall GNPA at 2.1%. However, the affordable mortgage segment has shown stress with GNPA increasing from 2.1% to 5.3% over the past fiscal year, prompting the company to slow disbursements in this segment. The company manages assets of Rs. 17,500 crore with 730 branches across 17 states.
Positive for shareholders - the reaffirmation of investment-grade ratings with stable outlook indicates financial stability and continued parent support, which should support borrowing costs and investor confidence. The increase in CP limit also signals lenders' comfort with the company's liquidity position.
