Fermenta Biotech reported FY26 revenue of INR 547.8 crore, up 14% YoY, though Q4 saw a 12% decline due to a high FY25 base from real estate value unlocking. Core revenue excluding real estate grew 27% YoY to INR 546 crore, driven by Vitamin D3 Human Nutrition (+28% to INR 293 crore) and Animal Nutrition (+32% to INR 109 crore). Green Chemistry sales more than doubled to INR 16 crore. EBITDA margin held at 22.3%, well above FY23-24 levels. Free cash flow more than tripled to INR 62 crore, cash reserves rose 30% to INR 92 crore, and debt-to-equity improved to 0.27 from 0.30. The company maintains a diversified customer base with 68 customers generating INR 1-5 crore each.
Strong operational performance with cash generation and deleveraging improving the balance sheet, though Q4 headline numbers were temporarily depressed by a prior-year real estate windfall. The 27% core revenue growth and expanding mid-market customer base signal healthy commercial momentum.
