Publication of IEPF related notice for equity shareholders

Fermenta Biotech Ltd has published a notice to equity shareholders regarding transfer of unclaimed equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act 2013, shares where dividend has remained unpaid or unclaimed for seven consecutive years must be transferred to IEPF Demat Account. The company has identified shareholders with unclaimed final dividend from 2018-19 whose shares are due for transfer. Shareholders have been given 30 days from the date of publication to claim their unpaid dividends and avoid automatic transfer of their shares to IEPF. The company will not be liable for shares transferred to IEPF as per statutory requirements.
