Binance Research reports that sports prediction market volumes have surged past 20 billion dollars monthly, marking nearly 200-fold growth over two years, driven by the FIFA World Cup. Annual sports prediction market volumes could rise from about 248 billion dollars in 2026 to around 739 billion dollars by 2030 in its base case. Lower exchange-style fees of around 1 percent, compared with traditional sportsbooks' 10 percent hold rate, and the 48-team World Cup format expanding matches by 60 percent are key growth drivers.
