Filatex India, a leading polyester filament yarn manufacturer, shared its Q1FY26 results through an investor presentation. Revenue stood at ₹1,049.40 Cr, slightly down 2.83% QoQ, while EBITDA rose to ₹77.76 Cr with margins improving to 7.41% from 7.01% in the previous quarter. On a YoY basis, EBITDA grew 27.7% and PAT grew 26.2% to ₹40.74 Cr. For FY25, the company posted revenue of ₹4,252.15 Cr, EBITDA of ₹257.71 Cr (up 8%), and PAT of ₹134.57 Cr (up 22%). Chairman Madhu Sudhan Bhageria stated that demand and margin signs are improving, and margins should continue to improve as import volumes reduce. The company also showcased its Ecosis circular textile recycling initiative and plans for a 27,000 MTPA recycling chips facility at Dahej.
Margins are showing a clear improvement trend, with management explicitly guiding for further expansion as imports decline, which is a positive signal for shareholders. However, flat QoQ revenue and a slight dip in PAT suggest volume growth remains a watch point.
