Filatex India reported Q4 and full year FY26 standalone results. Revenue from operations for FY26 stood at ₹4,160.52 crore, down 2.15% from ₹4,252.15 crore in FY25, reflecting temporary industry demand softness driven by geopolitical disruptions in West Asia affecting crude-linked input costs. However, profitability improved significantly — EBITDA grew 34.47% YoY to ₹346.52 crore with margins expanding from 6.06% to 8.33%, and PAT rose 36.66% YoY to ₹183.90 crore (FY25: ₹134.57 crore). The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.30 per equity share (30% on face value of ₹1) subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing AGM. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. Key capex projects — a ₹300 crore textile-to-textile recycling project and a ₹235 crore PFY capacity expansion — are on track for commissioning by September 2026.
Strong profit growth and margin expansion are positives for shareholders, though top-line decline signals near-term industry headwinds. The dividend and ongoing capex execution support long-term value creation. Removal of customs duties on PTA and MEG from April 2026 may ease raw material cost pressures going forward.
