Filmcity Media Limited reported FY25 total income of Rs. 201.62 lakhs, up about 61% from Rs. 125.10 lakhs in FY24, driven mainly by sales of Rs. 124.80 lakhs and purchases/cost of goods adjustments. However, Q4FY25 alone had zero revenue and posted a loss of Rs. 8.06 lakhs, sharply lower than the Rs. 94.45 lakh profit in Q4FY24. Full-year PAT turned positive at Rs. 9.12 lakhs versus a loss of Rs. 15.27 lakhs in FY24. EPS stood at Rs. 0.03 versus Rs. (0.05). The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. Reserves remain negative at Rs. (17.79) lakhs and operating cash flow was marginally negative at Rs. (0.83) lakhs.
While the company returned to annual profitability and posted strong top-line growth, the Q4 revenue collapse, negative reserves, and negative operating cash flow raise concerns about the sustainability of earnings. Shareholders should watch for signs of revenue revival in FY26 and improvement in cash generation.
