Financial Result for 30th September 2019
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Bharati Defence and Infrastructure Ltd submitted its long-pending unaudited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2019, filed only in August 2025 after the company exited the IBC liquidation process in January 2025. For H1 FY20, revenue from operations collapsed to Rs 93.16 lakhs from Rs 1,714.45 lakhs in the year-ago period, and the company posted a net loss of Rs 3,053.42 lakhs (EPS of Rs -6.07) versus a loss of Rs 2,397.55 lakhs in H1 FY19. The balance sheet shows severely negative shareholders' funds of approximately Rs (4,95,262) lakhs, dominated by negative other equity, against total assets of Rs 4,77,812.95 lakhs. The newly appointed auditor, AK Kocchar & Associates (appointed January 23, 2025), issued a limited review report stating the financial information had not been prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and should not be relied upon, citing lack of statutory audit, missing documentation, and prior management non-cooperation.
This is a delayed, heavily caveated disclosure of results from a company that went through full IBC liquidation. Shareholders face near-total loss of equity value given the massively negative net worth, and the auditor's disclaimer means the figures carry limited assurance value. The stock remains a high-risk, information-deficient situation with no clear path to recovery reflected in these numbers.
