Mahaveer Infoway Limited reported standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 273.07 lakhs for FY25, sharply down from Rs. 541.31 lakhs in FY24 — a drop of nearly 50%. Q4 FY25 revenue was also weak at Rs. 24.14 lakhs versus Rs. 57.88 lakhs in Q4 FY24. Despite the revenue decline, the company swung to a full-year profit after tax of Rs. 8.00 lakhs compared to a loss of Rs. 38.90 lakhs in FY24, helped by lower operating expenses and an exceptional item of Rs. 1 lakh in Q4. The IT & Consultancy segment remains the only revenue contributor, while the Mobile segment continued to post losses. The board also approved the appointment of M/s. Baheti & Gupta as Secretarial Auditors for FY26, and the statutory auditor M/s. Kalyana & Co. issued an unmodified opinion.
The sharp revenue contraction is a serious concern and signals business slowdown, but the swing to profitability and unchanged auditor with a clean opinion offer some reassurance. Shareholders should note that the company still has accumulated losses of Rs. 1.48 crore in reserves, operating cash flows remain negative, and a Rs. 8.99 crore income tax demand is pending at the appellate level — all factors that could weigh on the stock.
