Fine Organic Industries disclosed its Q4 and FY26 investor presentation. The company, a manufacturer of specialty oleochemical-based additives for food, polymers, cosmetics, and coatings, reported FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 2,276 crore (up 3.2% YoY) and PAT of Rs 346.4 crore (down 11.1% YoY). Q4FY26 standalone revenue was Rs 616.3 crore (up 7% YoY). EBITDA margins declined significantly from 21.8% in FY25 to 18.1% in FY26, primarily due to increased raw material prices and higher freight costs (driven by West Asia crisis). Exports accounted for 55% of revenue. The company is expanding globally through new subsidiaries in USA (acquired 160 acres in South Carolina), UAE, and Thailand, while also proposing to acquire 80% of Oleofine Organics Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia for approximately Rs 83 crore.
The margin contraction in FY26 is a concern for shareholders, as EBITDA declined 14.5% YoY despite modest revenue growth. The company's global expansion plans and the proposed Malaysian acquisition could support long-term growth but require significant capital deployment.
