Finkurve Financial Services (Arvog), a gold loan-focused NBFC, reported Q1 FY26 results showing strong growth. Asset Under Management jumped 66% year-on-year to ₹541.78 crore, with disbursements of ₹796.61 crore during the quarter. Total income rose 40.47% YoY to ₹40.04 crore, while net interest income grew 29.47% YoY to ₹19.52 crore. Profit after tax increased 16% YoY to ₹5.09 crore, and the company raised approximately ₹111.50 crore via preferential equity shares and warrants to fund expansion. The branch network expanded from 64 to 83, including the company's first branch in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Asset quality remained strong with gross NPA at 0.37% and net NPA at 0.17%, and capital adequacy stood at 57.31%.
The strong AUM growth, low NPAs, and successful capital raise signal healthy business momentum and expansion potential, which is positive for shareholders. However, declining return ratios (RoE down to 8% from 9.19%, return on loan assets down to 4.15% from 5.99%) and a recent equity dilution may temper near-term per-share returns.
