Fino Payments Bank reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results with total income of ₹45,347 lakhs, up from ₹43,686 lakhs a year ago, but net profit dipped slightly to ₹2,400 lakhs from ₹2,427 lakhs. EPS fell to ₹2.13 from ₹2.92, and return on assets dropped to 0.41% from 0.71%. Capital adequacy ratio stood strong at 73.35%. The board approved the re-appointment of Mr. Rajat Kumar Jain as Non-Executive Independent Director and Part-Time Chairperson for a second 3-year term starting November 2, 2025. M/s. Bilimoria Mehta & Co. was appointed as the new Statutory Central Auditor for 3 years, replacing A P Sanzgiri & Co. whose term ends at the upcoming AGM, and M/s. Alwyn Jay & Co. was appointed as Secretarial Auditor for 5 years. All appointments are subject to shareholder and, where applicable, RBI approval.
Steady revenue growth but slight profit decline and weaker asset returns may be a mild negative for the stock, though the strong capital adequacy ratio offers comfort. Routine board and auditor changes are procedural and unlikely to move the share price.
