Finolex Cables reported strong Q4 FY26 results with revenue of Rs. 1,951 crore, up 22% YoY, driven by volume expansion across wires and cables segment. EBITDA stood at Rs. 236 crore with margins improving 7% YoY due to operating leverage benefits. PAT for Q4 was Rs. 161 crore, up 6% YoY. For the full year FY26, revenue reached Rs. 6,321 crore (19% YoY growth) and PAT was Rs. 623 crore (14% YoY growth). Electrical cables segment saw broad-based volume growth across automobile, power, control, and solar categories. Communication cables showed exceptional EBIT growth of 496% YoY as the market transitions to fiber optic solutions. The company noted headwinds from volatile copper prices, Middle East disruptions affecting raw material availability, and liquidity issues in Q4 impacting volumes temporarily.
The company delivered healthy revenue growth with margin expansion in a volatile year, demonstrating operational resilience. However, working capital metrics showed some deterioration with receivable days rising to 17 and inventory days increasing to 57, which investors may monitor closely.
