First Custodian Fund (India) Ltd reported audited results for FY25 with total income of Rs. 304.60 lacs versus Rs. 281.14 lacs in FY24, an increase of about 8.4%. Net profit stood at Rs. 173.96 lacs versus Rs. 164.00 lacs, up roughly 6.1% year-on-year. Basic EPS was Rs. 11.60 (FY24: Rs. 10.93). The Board has recommended a final dividend of 10% (Re. 1 per equity share) subject to shareholder approval. Q4 standalone numbers look weak on paper (revenue Rs. 29.68 lacs, profit Rs. 0.85 lacs) but these are balancing figures between the audited full-year and the 9-month interim period and should not be read as actual quarterly performance. The statutory auditor (Paresh D Shah & Co.) issued an unmodified opinion, and the company also re-appointed Mr. Giriraj Damani as Managing Director and Mr. Manish Banthia as Whole-time Director & CFO for 3-year terms.
Steady but unspectacular full-year growth in income and profit, supported by a 10% dividend — broadly neutral to mildly positive for shareholders. Investors should note the very small scale of operations (under Rs. 5 crore revenue) and that Q4 standalone numbers are not directly comparable.
