The board of First Fintec Ltd approved its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025 on 14 August 2025. Revenue from operations rose to Rs. 6.48 million, up about 63% from Rs. 3.98 million in the same quarter last year. Total income climbed to Rs. 7.02 million versus Rs. 4.01 million in Q1 FY25. The company swung back to a net profit of Rs. 0.52 million, compared with a loss of Rs. 0.97 million in the year-ago quarter, with EPS of Rs. 0.05. However, in Note 6, management itself flags that it foresees a large-scale contraction in demand, possible significant downsizing of employees, and redundancy of physical infrastructure. The auditor (JMT & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report.
The strong top-line growth and turnaround to profit are positive for shareholders, but the small revenue base makes earnings volatile, and management's own warning about demand contraction and likely downsizing is a meaningful red flag that could weigh on the stock in the near term.
