Five-Star Business Finance filed its Q4FY26 and FY26 investor presentation. Loan portfolio (AUM) grew 11% YoY to ₹132,246 Mn, while Q4 disbursement rose to ₹12,133 Mn (+24% QoQ). FY26 PAT was ₹10,988 Mn (+2% YoY), with Q4 PAT at ₹2,693 Mn (-4% YoY). Asset quality remains a concern, with Gross NPA at 3.37% (up from 1.79% YoY) and credit cost rising to 1.88% in Q4. NIM compressed to 20.07% (Q4) and ROA fell to 8.37% (Q4). However, slippage ratio improved to 0.70% in Q4 from 1.09% in Q3, and collection efficiency touched a historical best of 98.1%. The company added 96 branches YoY to reach 844 branches across 11 states.
Management expressed confidence that 'the worst is behind us' and guided for AUM growth of around 20% for FY27 and beyond. While near-term asset quality and margin pressures persist, improving collection metrics and falling slippage could support a gradual recovery in profitability and investor sentiment.
