Foods & Inns reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs. 231.58 crore, down about 4% from Rs. 241.05 crore in Q1 FY25. Standalone net profit rose modestly to Rs. 7.63 crore from Rs. 7.31 crore, while EPS stood at Rs. 1.04 versus Rs. 1.20 last year. On the consolidated side, revenue fell to Rs. 236.15 crore and net profit edged up to Rs. 7.10 crore from Rs. 7.01 crore. Sales tonnage grew 10.3% YoY to 29,964 MT, driven by a 12% jump in domestic sales, though realisations were softer, leading to a 4% decline in sales value (Rs. 229 crore vs Rs. 239 crore). The company highlighted strong demand in frozen foods (volumes up ~50% YoY), new export orders for Tetra Recart to Russia, and a regained tender-based client for Kusum Spices. The board also set September 23, 2025 for the 53rd AGM and appointed Ragini Chokshi & Co. as Secretarial Auditor for a fresh five-year term. Total financial indebtedness stood at Rs. 443.66 crore with no loan defaults reported.
Mixed signals for shareholders: top-line declined despite volume growth, indicating pricing pressure or product mix headwinds. Modest PAT growth and strong demand commentary in newer segments (frozen, Tetra Recart) offer some comfort, but the revenue softness may weigh on near-term sentiment.
