Force Motors has announced the results of a postal ballot (remote e-voting) conducted from 13 February to 14 March 2026. Shareholders approved all three special resolutions with overwhelming majority: appointment of Mr. Gautam Hemant Bambawale, Mr. Nitin Nandkishor Kareer, and Lt. Gen. Vinod Gulabrao Khandare (Retd.) as Independent Directors for a first term of 5 years. Total voting turnout was about 72% of outstanding equity shares (roughly 9.49 million shares), and each resolution received over 99.7% votes in favour. The promoter and promoter group (holding about 99.91% of shares) voted fully in favour of all three resolutions. The scrutinizer, CA Parag Pansare, confirmed the process was fair and transparent, with all resolutions deemed passed with effect from 14 March 2026.
The appointments strengthen the company's board with three new independent directors, but the outcome was largely expected given the promoter group's near-total shareholding and 100% support. Minimal stock price impact is anticipated as no material business change is involved.
