Force Motors Limited has informed stock exchanges that it has completed sending individual intimation letters to shareholders whose shares are due to be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority. The company has also published advertisements in Financial Express (English) and Loksatta (Marathi) newspapers regarding this matter. Under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013, shares of shareholders who have not claimed dividends for seven consecutive years (from FY 2018-19 onwards) will be transferred to the IEPF Demat Account. Shareholders have been given until 30th September 2026 to claim their unpaid dividends, failing which their equity shares (both physical and electronic) will be moved to the IEPF. Unclaimed dividends up to FY 2017-18 have already been transferred to IEPF previously.
This is a routine regulatory compliance filing and does not affect the company's operations or financial performance. Shareholders who have not claimed dividends since FY 2018-19 should act quickly to avoid losing their shares to the IEPF. Shareholders can still reclaim their shares later by applying through Form IEPF-5.
