Fortis Healthcare reported strong FY 2025-26 consolidated results with revenue from operations of ₹91,278 lakhs, up 17% from ₹77,828 lakhs in the previous year. Net profit jumped 31% to ₹10,642 lakhs from ₹8,094 lakhs, while EBITDA rose 29% to ₹21,356 lakhs. EPS improved to ₹13.80 from ₹10.26. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share (10% on ₹10 face value), subject to shareholder approval. M/s Jitender, Navneet & Co. was appointed as Cost Auditor for FY 2026-27. The auditors issued an unmodified opinion, though the report highlighted ongoing SFIO investigation regarding alleged improper transactions originating prior to 2018 and Supreme Court-directed forensic audit for RHT Health Trust transactions.
Strong operational performance with double-digit growth across revenue, profits, and margins is positive for shareholders. The modest ₹1 dividend provides direct returns. However, the ongoing regulatory investigations and exceptional items totaling ₹2,224 lakhs loss (net) may create some investor caution despite clean audit opinion.
