Fujiyama Power Systems has signed an agreement with UP Electronic Corporation Limited (UPLC), a Government of Uttar Pradesh entity, to receive incentives totalling about Rs. 8.21 Crores under the UP Electronic Manufacturing Policy, 2020 (1st Amendment-2022). The benefits are linked to Phase-I of the company's Dadri Plant in Uttar Pradesh. The breakup includes a capital subsidy of Rs. 7.50 Crore spread over five equal yearly instalments, an interest subsidy of about Rs. 29.6 lakhs, a stamp duty reimbursement of about Rs. 16.5 lakhs, and a lease rental reimbursement of Rs. 25 lakhs. The disbursement is subject to UPLC's terms and conditions.
Positive for shareholders — government subsidies lower the effective project cost and improve cash flows at the Dadri plant, though benefits are staggered over 5–7 years and contingent on policy compliance.
